PARKS OVER PAVEMENT

Join us in a movement towards a greener, healthier Houston!

Our campaign is dedicated to prioritizing green spaces over concrete jungles, breathing new life into our urban landscapes. We envision vibrant parks, gardens, and forests replacing dull parking lots and roads, creating spaces for relaxation, recreation, and connection.

By advocating for the transformation of Houston’s cityscape, we’re paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future for generations to enjoy. Together, let’s sow the seeds of change and cultivate thriving environments that nourish both body and soul.

SAPLING

The sapling represents growth, renewal, and transformation. Symboling the beginning stages of creating green spaces and suggests the promise of a healthier, more vibrant environment for the community.

CONCRETE

The concrete means the potential for green spaces to reclaim urban environments, demonstrating the triumph of nature over artificial constructs.

LETTER K

The letter “K” visually resembles a sapling without its right leg, effectively tying in the concept with the chosen typography by symbolizing growth and the potential for transformation.

The serif was used to communicate a cement block.
